Originally inspired by her mother who was an avid taker of photographs (as well as a gifted scrapbooker), Shaye began capturing moments as a young girl on an old Canon AE1 that her mother taught her to use. Once film was no longer a restriction (thanks to the digital camera revolution), Shaye promptly began filling her memory cards with images of food, gardens, and small treasures she found beautiful. She has an affinity for old beauty, making farms and Italy her favorite places in the world. She now shoots on a Nikon Z9 and processes her images in Lightroom.
