I began this still-life photography just a year ago now. In that time, I've learned an intense (and frustrating) amount about what a different method of photography it is to create an image that will hang on someone's wall versus shooting food, farm, and gardens on the fly. Though I've been a photographer for over a decade, with four published books under my belt, it's a never ending cycle of discovery. This self-portrait will be the first of many in a "homemaking" series that we will begin later this Autumn. My hope is capture the beauty and timelessness of being a homemaker, all the while, encouraging you to get your hands dirty in your home and grow deeply in the process. It's exposing and beautiful.
Each print is custom printed by a high-quality art printer in Seattle, WA to order. The print will be shipped flat (not rolled) in a supporting envelope so as to maintain the integrity of the museum-quality paper and ink and to give you as many display options in your home as possible.
