The colors of the Autumn garden are striking. The golds, reds, and browns finally get their time in the spotlight and boy, do they ever shine. One of my favorite aspects of still-life photography is the opportunity to highlight what is often overlooked or forgotten. A broken walnut shell. A tattered and dried up leaf. A humble squash. It's, quite perfectly, "garden gold".
